Terms and Conditions of Supply – Young Cruiser’s Association

Eligibility
Special discounts and deals offered for Ronstan hardware & Andersen Winches are available only to members in good standing with the YCA Discounts Program. Ronstan reserves the right to refuse or terminate discount access to any individual.
Eligible members looking to purchase Ronstan hardware or Andersen winches at the discount pricing are required to abide by the terms presented, including the supply of any marketing materials or digital, photo, or video content as required.
Delivery
Delivery of Ronstan or Andersen products is limited to the following territories: United States, Caribbean, Australia, and New Zealand. If delivery is required to any other country or region, it is the responsibility of the customer to arrange a freight forwarder within the approved shipping territories.
Ronstan will advise the estimated lead time upon order confirmation but is not to be held accountable for unavoidable delays in delivery due to shipping complications, customs delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. All lead times provided by Ronstan should be considered estimates.
Payment
The agreed upon price for all goods is to be paid in full via Credit Card or Money Transfer before shipping.
Non-stock or Special Order Items may require full payment upon placing the order. In this case, freight charges will be assessed at a later date when the order ships. Non-stock and special orders are non-refundable.
Any taxes or Government charges imposed upon Ronstan relating to the supply of the goods shall be an additional charge to the Purchaser.
Discount
Eligible members will qualify for discounted pricing on Ronstan hardware and winches. Members looking to purchase Ronstan hardware or winches at the discounted pricing are required to abide by the terms presented, including the supply of digital, photo, or video content as required. Discount may vary according to delivery region. Order values according to local currency (AUD or USD).
Ronstan Hardware: 40% off MSRP or RRP.
Andersen and Orbit Winches: 30% off MSRP or RRP.
Warranty
As defined here. Any warranty or negative product experiences are to be handled directly with Ronstan and not to be mentioned on any public, online, or social platforms.
Confidentiality
The details of the agreement between Ronstan and the YCA member are strictly confidential. Sharing details with outside parties can be deemed a breach of contract.
Content Guidelines & Usage Rights
The marketing content provided by YCA members must comply with Ronstan's guidelines for marketing content, including guidelines for language, imagery, and tone. Ronstan may provide basic instruction for content including product features and benefits to highlight or other specific requests based on individual settings and applications. Products are only to be shown in appropriate applications – Ronstan has the right to not accept any content displaying improper installation, use, or application.
Marketing content is to be delivered in a reasonable and mutually agreed upon time frame. Unless otherwise specified, content delivery is required within 60 days of product delivery. Failure to deliver agreed upon deliverables will result in Ronstan charging the customer for the full value of product.
By submitting marketing content, YCA members grant Ronstan the right to use, reproduce, and publish the content for promotional and commercial purposes in perpetuity.
When possible, competitor’s products should not be visible or recognisable in image backgrounds.
Marketing Deliverables
Ronstan is seeking true customer stories to help build our digital community. Give us a quick rundown of who you are, where you are, what boat you have, and any interesting tidbits accompanied by an image of you on the water that you feel shows your personality (bonus points if Ronstan product is visible).
The best stories will be shared across our socials, along with a tag or collaborator post if you’d like.

*As a product’s value increases, typically the product’s complexity and the importance of proper specification also increases. We prefer to work directly with the customer to ensure all questions are answered, any potential lead times are clarified, and the best possible product is identified based on the specific application and requirements.
