Make it a Winter to Remember with YCA
Written by Nina Frick

The Young Cruisers Association is stoked to present five meetup opportunities throughout the Bahamas as part of the Bahamian Winter to Remember event series. Because together, cruising is better!

Beginning Jan. 23 in the Abacos and continuing south to Exuma in February, the events will include sailing races and social events to bring our cruising community together for good times and a bit of friendly competition. Mark your calendar and join us for one or all the events to connect with your fellow cruisers.

Have the latest SeaPeople with groups features?

As with all sailing plans, the exact dates and times of some events will be contingent on the weather. For the latest info about the upcoming events, join the event’s group on SeaPeople for updates!

BONUS EVENT: George Town Takeover in February

Following the Exuma Floatchella, YCA will move the party to George Town.

Join our modern-day pirate brigade as we take over the beaches and bars around Elizabeth Harbor for a few days of debauchery. Stay tuned for additional details.

The Young Cruiser’s Association is not your parents’ cruising club. It’s your tribe. It’s your community. We are not a business or a social media handle. YCA is all of us who didn’t wait for retirement to start making our dreams reality. We’re a platform to help Y O U make meaningful connections out on the water.

We want all members to take pride and ownership in YCA. If there isn’t a gathering planned in your area, you can fix that! Get involved in a bigger way and let us help put fuel on your fire to promote it. We will do our part to help get the word out to cruisers in your area. Learn how you can host a YCA event.
